Dentley is a 2004 dodge 1500 four-door truck. Clay purchased the truck used and eventually passed it on to his son Dalton when he turned 16 years old. Just like most teenagers Dalton dented this truck a lot and that’s where the name Dentley come from. When Dalton got a little older and became the driver of the Blue Thunder Monster Jam Truck. He quickly added big wheels and had the dents removed and a flat black paint job.
Unfortunately we lost Dalton in a motorcycle crash in 2015. Clay knew he wanted to keep Dentley but wanted to take it to the next level. This is where Jeff and Jeffery Lutz come into the story.
Dentley made its way to Lutz Race Cars. There it spent the next 4 1/2 years getting transformed into what you see here. Dentley is now powered by a Arrington Performance 426 HEMI with all the Comp Cams goodies along with twin Precision Turbo’s. It has a full Lutz Race Cars roll cage for all four seats.
It has a TCI turbo 400 transmission with a gear vendors overdrive. Outback it has a Moser Engineering 9 inch rear with Penske shocks. Topped off with Weld Racing wheels and Mickey Thompson Tires.
At some point in the future, look for Dentley at a Drag and Drive event.
